Media:

I would like to expand my knowledge of the media and what affect it has on peoples lives. What I know currently of the media is very little; the media has changed in the way that we access it and influences public opinions. I am intrigued how media devices have expanded and are day to day essentials, the media uses marketing strategies to increase the growth of specific products; this way brands such as Apple are widely known.


The media influences public perceptions for particular issues, famous people, those of a high status can be used to persuade and set an agenda to the public. Celebrities are used to sponsor, represent and distribute products through social media sites, these social media sites can be viewed nationally or internationally.
